As a man if you are smart and responsible, earning a decent income and can cook and clean moderately, you don’t need a wife. Just have a girlfriend or baby mama. Save your self the headache. Where there is understanding,any of the partner can pay for the hospital bill,but as an igbo man,there are things like hospital discharge bill of my child birth,bride price/marriage rite of my wife ,i made sure i paid them myself,even if it means using any of my valuable as collateral to borrow money,i rather do it than allow even my father,mother,sibling or relative to pay it for me.i don't like people paying for me to avoid using it to mock me tomorrow.Allowing another person to pay for your child birth discharge fee,it`s a red flag to proof that you are not yet ready to be a good father who is ready to take up the responsibility of taking care of a child.
